About Stacey Music Systems

Stacey Music Systems is a well established Sound installation specialist undertaking all aspects of Sound System installations.

Professional Music Equipment Kent UKThe business was established in 1983 by Raymond Stacey, who had a previous good background and knowledge of Venue and Club Entertainment Systems while working for a highly respected Sound & Lighting manufacturer and installer - Kuschel Electronics of London, who were responsible for many of the most prestigious night clubs and venue bars in London & Paris during the 1970s and 80s. The experience gained during that time helped Raymond Stacey to build-up an in-depth understanding of the business.

Since then Stacey Music Systems have gained an enviable reputation for providing many flagship projects and pride themselves on understanding the client's requirements to achieve the final outcome.

In 1990 they were approached by Whitbread's Special Projects Division to provide a high quality state of the art Sound System for their newly acquired premises in Norwich sited at the old Anglian TV studios - this became Henrys Café Bar. The brief was simple; they wanted the best sound installation available to complement the luxurious interiors.

In order to get the desired effect Stacey Music Systems installed KEF flush mounted architectural speakers, and to achieve extra smooth low bass frequencies, rather than use typical bass enclosures, KEF bass units were fitted in to the cavities of the building with extended ports without interfering with the aesthetics of the building whilst maintaining a good quality bass response.

This system was an instant success which led to Stacey Music Systems to being nominated for the sound industry's "Golden Ears Award"

Since then we have been involved in many projects within the leisure industry including mainstream retail outlets such as River Island, and have been responsible for their installations and servicing since 1994.

Stacey Music Systems can boast they have installed systems in most major towns and cities in the United Kingdom.
